Located at the intersection of the Sugar River and Badger Trails, Monticello welcomes visitors to enjoy beautiful Lake Montesian. An island in the 14-acre lake is accessible by a footbridge and the surrounding park provides a scenic backdrop for a picnic. Travelers will also enjoy the colorful array of blooms in Montesian Gardens complete with a gazebo which offers a peaceful respite and a chance to literally stop and smell the roses.
