Brodhead is the ideal starting point for experiencing your own private bike lane on quiet quality back roads that take you to authentic sites such as the "Halfway Tree" legendary spot used by early day Indians to indicate they were half way between Lake Michigan and the Mississippi River, Amish businesses, or a cheese factory or ice cream stand. A replica of the Clarenced Covered Bridge is on the bike traila short three miles from the downtown business district. Trailside restrooms, water and parking is downtown on West Third Avenue and Exchange Street.
